Master Medical Equipment Partnership

Friends of Heart, a fund of the West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation, recently partnered with Master Medical Equipment to donate 8 AEDs to the Jackson Police Department. AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) are used to help people who are experiencing sudden cardiac arrest by delivering electrical shocks to re-establish the heart’s rhythm and giving instructions on how to perform effective CPR. These 8 AEDs are the next generation of protection; replacing its older counterparts who expire in February 2022 per FDA’s AED notice.

Friends of Heart and Master Medical Equipment are committed to making Jackson a safer community by placing AEDs in businesses, parks, and schools.
