Local Dollars doing Local Work
Donations to Friends of Heart go directly into local causes supporting heart and vascular care, cardiac causes, and life-saving AED placements here in our community. All dollars stay local and are used to serve our community. These dollars might be used to assist with a Heart House for families of a loved one recovering from a cardiac emergency, to purchase new technology for our doctors, for cardiac research, or even for placing an AED in our community. Your support also makes our 4-Minute City Initiative and the new Youth EKG Screening program possible. Thank you!
Anna Lambert Fund
Anna Lambert is the daughter of Tania and Jeremy Lambert. Tania and Jeremy tragically lost Anna on February 21, 2012. They keep Anna’s spirit alive through their efforts helping families who have a child with congenital heart disease. Watch the video below as Tania explains that day and why she supports Friends of Heart. Anna will never be forgotten–she lives on through Tania and Jeremy as a beacon of hope to others!
Provide an AED
Automated External Defibrillators, which are essential to converting a deadly heart rhythm back to normal during cardiac arrest, need to be deployed as often as possible within a city. AEDs are simple and easy to use, and don’t require medical training. Placing AEDs throughout our community can mean the difference between life and death. Immediate cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and early defibrillation with an AED can more than double a victim’s chance for survival.
